About the Leather: This leather is exceptionally soft calf skin suede. This type of leather is challenging to work with when creating semi-rigid products such as watch straps because the leather itself is so soft. The suede surface of this leather is difficult to capture on camera, but it is soft to the touch and has the typical napped appearance of suede. As you run your finger over the surface, you will see the color change from dark to lighter and back to dark when you move it in the opposite direction. The inner is noticeably lighter than the surface which creates the nice contrast that you see in the pictures. See the pictures of the strap installed on a PAM632 to get a more accurate idea of the true appearance of this unique leather. This particular strap is designed with one fixed and one floating keeper. The strap in the photos features a worn and distressed buckle, but you may request a new vintage style pin buckle installed if you like. The stitching is beige in color, and the thread is the thinnest suitable for this strap. This strap also looks amazing with medium thread sizes.
