About the Leather: Crafted entirely by hand, this vintage-inspired Panerai strap embodies craftsmanship and attention to detail, hallmarks of all my creations. I sought out the finest semi-gloss vegetable-tanned leather in tan hues, chosen for its ability to gracefully mature over time. This leather boasts a medium temper that molds to the contours of your wrist with each wear. Furthermore, thanks to its vegetable tanning process, this strap will develop a rich patina, a testament to its journey alongside you.
The smooth-textured surface of the strap offers a tactile delight, destined to evolve in character as it absorbs the traces of sunlight and moisture, gradually deepening in hue. Complementing this exquisite leather, I opted for beige stitching in a tight pattern, ensuring durability. Additionally, as a second option, this strap looks brilliant with ivory white stitching as well.
Designed with versatility in mind, this tan strap features one floating keeper and one fixed. Should you require more room, the second keeper can be effortlessly removed, improving comfort without compromising style. Additionally, the neutral tone of this vintage-inspired Panerai strap blends effortlessly with any dial color or indication combination.
Displayed here on the PAM00775 Luminor Base. This strap is ships with a brushed stainless steel vintage-style pin buckle sewn in place. Should you desire a different buckle style, a range of options awaits, accessible through the “buckle style” drop down menu. Each buckle option is thoughtfully selected to complement the strap. Finally, If you wish to use your OEM buckle, please select “No Buckle” from the buckle drop down menu.

Additional Information: The 44mm Panerai Luminor is the true workhorse of the Panerai lineup, and by far has the most potential for aftermarket strap creation. While larger 47mm case models demand thicker straps, the 44mm Luminor case is more flexible and works with a variety of different strap thicknesses. With that in mind, I make most of my 44mm case Panerai straps with thinner thread. When I select the thread and spacing, I take into consideration the thickness and temper of the leather.
Most of my 24mm custom straps for 44mm Panerai models utilize a vintage Panerai style pin buckle. However, you will find that many straps in this section also have additional buckle options. My general design philosophy for 24mm straps is dual keepers of generous width, box stitching, and a thickness or 3.5 to 5.5mm depending on leather temper.
Finally, all of my 24mm Panerai straps for 44mm cases are 24/24mm, without a taper. The only tapered straps that I make are for Radiomir cases. Further, my design preferences for the 44mm Panerai case tend towards longer buckle sides and shorter bottom sides. Above all, the aim is to achieve as much balance as possible. Additionally, the stitching margins will be thinner on my 24mm Panerai straps than they are on my 47mm Panerai straps.
I pride myself in each aftermarket Panerai strap that I produce and perform the entire process by hand without templates or machines of any sort. I use the absolute basic tools, the same tools that I used as a boot maker for nearly two decades. In conclusion, as a result of the handmade nature of these straps, no two are identical.
