Description
About the Leather:Â 100% hand made, and hand stitched as with all of my straps. For this project, I selected a distressed vegetable tanned leather with a sun burned finish, hot hot hot. The strap features a nice reddish clay tan outer with visible fat lines and other distress marks. The inner is a lighter shade of tan. This soft tempered strap will conform nicely to your wrist. The pull-up characteristic of this leather is quite pronounced, which will lend your strap a well-worn aesthetic to the strap with time.
The thread is a light beige color with a thick margin along the edges. In addition, this strap features one floating keeper and one fixed. I designed this strap with a stainless thumbnail style buckle. Finally, this is the perfect strap for those collectors who like to watch leather age and appreciate the subtle differences that show themselves over long periods of wear. Pictured above, you may see this handmade strap on the Panerai Luminor Due 42mm PAM00906.
Measurements:Â This strap is 22/22, with a thickness of ~4.5mm.
What is Included:Â Watch strap (top, bottom), buckle, one wooden gift box as pictured.

Additional Information:
The 38mm, 42mm and 45mm Luminor Due series are the latest entries in the Panerai catalog. As with all Panerai cases, I take into consideration many elements of the watch before making a custom strap for it. With regard to the Due models, you will notice that my website features only straps for the 42mm models which have a 22mm lug width. I can happily make straps for your 38mm or 45mm Luminor Due model as well.
If you have a 45mm Luminor Due model, please check the 24mm strap section. When I make straps for the Luminor Due series, I take into consideration the much thinner case, and utilize leather of a lower thickness. This thinner leather sometimes allows for straps of a more rigid temper.
A variety of buckles may also be used on the 22mm straps, so you may see more than one buckle option on the drop down menus for various Panerai Luminor Due straps. Another unique feature that many of my custom Panerai Luminor Due straps utilize is quick release spring bars. Quick release bars work especially well on straps of a more firm temper. Quick release spring bars allow you to change straps with no tools and thus no chance of scratching the case. The slim and modern Due case lends itself to a wide variety of leathers that thicker cased Panerai models cannot pull off.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions about any of my custom Panerai laminar Due aftermarket straps. I pride myself in each aftermarket Panerai strap that I produce. I poerform the entire process by hand without templates or machines of any sort. Additionally, I use traditional tools, the same tools that I used as a boot maker for nearly two decades. Finally, as a result of the hand made nature of these straps, no two are identical.
