About the Leather: I created this light blue Panerai Radiomir strap 100% by hand and hand stitched it as with all of my straps. This is a chrome tanned leather sourced from an Italian tannery. Furthermore, this leather features an ultra soft temper. This light blue Panerai Radiomir strap features a thickness similar to that of the OEM strap, at around 3mm. In addition, to keep things simple, this strap features unfinished edges without any crease lines.
For the stitching I utilized color-matched thread, hand-stitched into a boxed pattern. This strap design features one fixed and one floating keeper. Additionally, this strap ships by default with a black flat GPF style pin buckle. Multiple buckle options are available from the drop down menu. Pictured above, you may see this spring-inspired light blue Panerai strap on the Panerai Radiomir PAM00292 Ceramic. Being of soft temper, this strap will conform to your wrist right away. Finally, this soft blue Panerai Radiomir strap can be paired with an abundance of Radiomir cases, but it provides especially nice contrast to black ceramic cases (such as the PAM00505, PAM00504, PAM00629, PAM00612, PAM00335, PAM01275, PAM01441, PAM00580, PAM00997, PAM00339, PAM00384, PAM00577, PAM00643, PAM00317, PAM00613 etc.) The strap pictured above measures 125/80.
**As with all straps on my site, this strap is available with a “no buckle” option that allows you to use your OEM buckle. If you wish to use your OEM buckle, please select “No Buckle”.

Additional Information: For each Panerai watch, I have a different design philosophy when it comes to making straps. The Radiomir is my historical favorite among all Panerai cases. I bought my first Radiomir nearly two decades ago and did not start making straps for them until many years later when I neared retirement. The Radiomir is a fun and challenging case to make custom straps for.
On larger Panerai cases in the 47mm range, I tend to use thicker thread with wider spacing. For the Radiomir I employ a mixture of both thicker and thinner threads, and both tight and wide spacing. When determining the thread thickness and spacing I take into account the characteristics of the leather. As a general rule, I tend to make my custom aftermarket Radiomir straps in thicknesses ranging from 3.5 to 5.0mm. The average thickness will be somewhere in the middle.
Due to the wire lugs of the typical Panerai Radiomir case, I tend to lean towards leathers of a slightly softer and more pliable temper. From a design perspective, I tend to utilize a taper of 27-22 or 26-22 depending on the leather. If you have a larger 47mm Radiomir case, like a PAM323, I highly recommend going with straps of 4.5mm thickness or above. I have even designed some custom aftermarket Radiomir straps specifically for the 47mm Radiomir cases that have a bolstered taper where the strap meets the case.
