Description
About the Leather:  For this epic strap, I selected a dark brown shark skin with a rugged texture. Shark skin, being naturally waterproof provides the wearer with the perfect strap for ocean and water activities. I designed this strap with two floating keepers as opposed to have one fixed in place. Additionally, the strap comes with a vintage style pin buckle (you may choose flat or curved from the drop down menu). I selected a dark brown thread for the stitching. This dark brown shark skin shows it’s true color under the light. This Panerai 24mm shark strap is absolutely amazing.
I have finished the edges with matte black edge coating. By request, I can make this strap with brown edge coating, or with raw unfinished edges. Above, you may see this Panerai 24mm shark strap on the 44mm Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00632. Shark skin provides a naturally soft temper that is comfortable to wear. Finally, for your reference, the strap in the photos measures 80mm/135mm. Note: I can also make this strap with unfinished raw edges by request.

Additional Information: The 44mm Panerai Luminor is the true workhorse of the Panerai lineup, and by far has the most potential for aftermarket strap creation. While larger 47mm case models demand thicker straps, the 44mm Luminor case is more flexible and works with a variety of different strap thicknesses. With that in mind, I make most of my 44mm case Panerai straps with thinner thread. When I select the thread and spacing, I take into consideration the thickness and temper of the leather.
Most of my 24mm custom straps for 44mm Panerai models utilize a vintage Panerai style pin buckle. However, you will find that many straps in this section also have additional buckle options in the drop down menus above. My general design philosophy for 24mm straps is dual keepers of generous width, box stitching, and a thickness or 3.5 to 5.5mm depending on leather temper.
Finally, all of my 24mm Panerai straps for 44mm cases are 24/24mm, without a taper. Furthermore, the only tapered straps that I make are usually for Radiomir cases. My design preferences for the 44mm Panerai case tend towards longer buckle sides and shorter bottom sides. Above all, the aim is to achieve as much balance as possible. Additionally, the stitching margins will be thinner on my 24mm Panerai straps than they are on my 47mm Panerai straps.
I pride myself in each aftermarket Panerai strap that I produce and perform the entire process by hand without templates or machines of any sort. Additionally, I use the absolute basic tools, the same tools that I used as a boot maker for nearly two decades. In conclusion, as a result of the handmade nature of these straps, no two are identical.

Just received the strap, it comes with a lovely wooden box which I can now use as a place to store my straps. Strap quality is flawless. I won’t be buying Mario Paci sharkskin straps anymore since I now found a superb Sharkskin strap with half the price.
